Caffè dei Fossi: Reviews & Ratings

Really great staff, service and quality. We went here every day of our vacation as we had such great service. There was a change of management and so don’t believe the old reviews. The new managers were lovely and they began to remember our orders and names by the end of our trip. They ever would hold pastries for us if they were going to run out. Love this place, and we’ll definitely be back if we ever go back to Florence!

I was in Firenze for the month of October, 2025 attending a class. Many mornings on the way to class I'd stop in Caffe Fossi for a cornetto and cappuccino. The staff was always so welcoming and kind, and I loved the windows that were more like sliding doors opened onto the street (good weather!). Plants everywhere, fantastic coffee and pastry offerings. I miss Caffe Fossi, and look forward to my trip this fall to return!

Caffee Fossi has become one of my regular stops in Florence. It is conveniently located and is so welcoming. The staff has been friendly and accommodating with my faltering Italian. The coffee, sandwiches, and pastries are delicious. I love sitting nestled in the plants, reading a book, and people watching.
